CableLabs is a research-and-development consortium for the cable television industry. It has developed and refined many technologies that have been introduced by member organizations, including cable modems, MPEG, and open standards-based CableCARDS. As a consortium, CableLabs is dependent on contributions from member companies, which places pressure on the consortium to remain visible in the cable community.

Our experience includes authoring technical byline articles on issues relevant to the cable industry generally and CableLabs specifically. These articles were placed in publications that are influential to the cable community, including CED, Multichannel News and CableWorld. They merchandized CableLabs’ thought leadership with key cable industry leaders, as well as with other external audiences such as regulators, politicians, analysts and investors.
